Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large fryer, cut up
    water to cover chicken
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. Crisco shortening
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. cold water
    3/4 c. milk
    4 chicken bouillon cubes
Preparation
    Cut up and boil chicken.
    Lift chicken from broth; cool and debone, placing chicken back into broth.
    At this point, you may need to add more water.
    Bring to boil and add salt and pepper and bouillon cubes.
    While water is coming to boil, prepare dumplings.
