Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oil
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. chopped nuts (pecans or black walnuts)
    3 c. chopped unpeeled apples
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together (batter will be very stiff) and pour into 9 x 14-inch pan and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 340\u00b0. Remove from oven and poke holes over entire cake.
    Pour glaze over cake and smooth so it goes into the holes.
    (This is done on hot cake.)
