Italian Beef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak
    1 large onion, diced
    6 c. beef broth
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. raw rice
    3 Tbsp. fresh parsley
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 clove garlic
    4 tomatoes, chopped
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 lb. cabbage, diced
    grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Thinly slice the steak.
    Heat oil in Dutch oven.
    Add onion and garlic; remove and brown beef well.
    Add the beef broth, tomatoes and seasonings and bring to a boil.
    Simmer 1 hour.
    Add rice and cook 20 minutes.
    Then add the cabbage and cook 15 more minutes.
    Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese.
