Cheese Pet - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 slices buttered bread, cubed
1 lb. grated sharp cheese
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk or half and half
1/2 c. medium white wine
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Alternate bread and cheese in buttered casserole.
Beat eggs until thick.
Add milk, wine, mustard and salt.
Pour egg mixture over bread and cheese.
Let stand for several hours or overnight in refrigerator.
Let casserole return to room temperature before baking for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
Serves 8 to 10.
