Chicken With Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 tsp. instant onion
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) mushroom soup
    3 chicken breasts, cut in half or 1 whole chicken, cut up
    1 c. regular rice
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Melt margarine in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Stir in rice, onion flakes, salt, soup and water.
    Place chicken breasts over top of mixture.
    Sprinkle with pepper.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
    Serves 6.
