Cranberry Liqueur - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. cranberries
    4 c. sugar
    4 c. gin
Preparation
    Chop cranberries, 4 cups at a time, in 2 (1/2 gallon) jars. Add sugar and gin, cover and shake hard for 5 seconds.
    Store in a cool place.
    Shake each day for 3 weeks.
    Strain well.
    Makes 6 cups.
    Use nonmetallic lids.
