Cousin Corinda'S Wedding Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
6 eggs
1 lb. raisins
1 lb. currants
1 lb. dates
1/4 lb. citron
2 lemon rind and juice or 1 orange and 1 lemon
1/2 lb. walnut meats
1 c. sour milk
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. crackers, rolled fine
2 c. flour

Preparation

Mix like any other cake, flour fruits with the flour given. Wine or brandy may be added if desired.
Bake two hours in a slow oven.
I added lots more fruit of all kinds and nut meats and then added a wine glass of brandy and one of wine.
But do not add any more flour even though you add the extra liquid.
