Old-Fashioned Nine-Day Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. shredded cabbage
1 medium green pepper, chopped
2 medium-sized onions, chopped
1 c. salad oil
1 c. apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. celery seed
1 Tbsp. black pepper
Preparation

Combine oil, vinegar, sugar, celery seed, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and pour over chopped vegetables.
Let stand at least 2 hours before serving.
This will keep 9 days, longer if refrigerated.
