Yams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 large sweet potatoes sliced
    1 c sugar
    1/2 c brown sugar
    1/3 c Karo syrup
    1 stick butter
    2 Tbsp lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Place sliced potatoes in deep heavy pan.
    Add sugars, syrup and butter. Then add lemon flavoring.
    Cook on top of range slowly until tender and syrup is thick.
