Carolina Chewy'S - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup soft butter
    1 16 oz box brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 cups self rising flour
    1 cup chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
    Blend in flour and then add nuts.
    Spoon batter into a well greased lightly floured 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 300 for 45 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE.
    Cut into squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
    Keep these covered well or they will get hard.
