Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. grated orange rind
4 eggs
2 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. milk
Preparation

Blend Crisco, sugar, vanilla and orange rind.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Combine flour, salt and baking powder; add alternately with milk.
Pour batter into prepared 9 1/2 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
