Ingredients

1 pt. milk
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
4 rounded tsp. Grape-Nuts
3/4 c. water
1 tsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Scald milk.
Add sugar and eggs.
Mix well.
Cook Grape-nuts in water until soft and mixture is thick (5 to 6 minutes).
Add to milk mixture.
Add butter and vanilla.
Stir.
Pour into buttered baking dish.
Set in pan of water.
Bake until custard sets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
