Squash Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 lb. sliced squash
    2 green onions
    5 medium onions
    1/2 c. salt
    5 c. vinegar
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. ground mustard
    1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix the last 5 ingredients and heat to boiling.
    Pack vegetables and salt in sterilized jars.
    Cover with vinegar solution.
    Place in water bath for 10 minutes.
