Caramel Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
3 c. cake flour (sifted)
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. Crisco
2/3 c. sweet milk
1/3 c. milk
5 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix sugar, cake flour and salt thoroughly.
Add Crisco and mix on low.
Add 2/3 cup sweet milk; mix on low until creamy.
Add 1/3 cup milk and egg whites, one at a time.
Beat until blended.
Add vanilla.
Place in 2 lined, greased 9-inch pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 about 30 minutes.
