Jalapeno Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. corn meal
    2 1/2 c. cold milk
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 large onion, grated
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3 strips bacon, crisped and crumbled
    1 small jar pimentos
    1 can creamed corn
    1 tsp. jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
    1 1/2 c. American cheese, grated
Preparation
    Mix in order as given above.
    Bake in large, greased baking dish in a 400\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown. Do not overcook or the cornbread will be soggy.
