Oven Fried Chicken With Buttermilk Gravy - cooking recipe

1/2 c. fine dry seasoned bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. paprika
3 lb. meaty chicken pieces with bone
3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
1 (1 oz.) envelope chicken gravy mix
1 1/3 c. buttermilk
Preparation

In a shallow dish, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese and paprika; set aside.
Rinse chicken; pat dry with paper towels. Brush chicken with melted margarine.
If desired, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Dip chicken into crumb mixture, turning to coat. Arrange chicken in a shallow baking pan.
Bake, uncovered, in a 425\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until tender and no longer pink.
