Lucille'S Fancy Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken, cut up
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sherry cooking wine
    1 (8 oz.) can cut or slice mushrooms
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 clove garlic
Preparation
    Remove skin from chicken except wings.
    Do not batter.
    Brown in butter both sides.
    Pour off juices.
    Add wine, mushrooms, garlic and water.
    Cook slowly until liquid is down and meat is done.
    Serve over rice.
