Shrimp Newburg - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. butter or margarine
    2 cans evaporated milk
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 Tbsp. sherry
    parsley
    rice or pastry shells
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 can sliced mushrooms
    1 c. very sharp Cheddar
    1 to 2 lb. lobster or shrimp
    dash of garlic powder
Preparation
    Throw together the butter or margarine and flour.
    Mix until smooth.
    Add mushroom soup, mushrooms and cheese; mix until smooth.
    Add 2 tablespoons or more of cooking sherry.
    Add shrimp or lobster; sprinkle with parsley.
    Add a dash of garlic powder. Serve on hot rice or pastry shells.
    Simple and excellent.
