Scott'S Favorite Spaghetti And Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 clove garlic, minced
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. oil
    3 (14.5 oz.) cans whole tomatoes, chopped in blender
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    2 c. water
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
    1 bay leaf
    Italian meatballs
    hot cooked spaghetti
Preparation
    Cook onion and minced garlic in oil until tender.
    Do not brown.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes, then remove bay leaf.
    Add meatballs.
    Cover loosely and cook 30 minutes.
    Serve over hot cooked spaghetti with Parmesan cheese.
