Sausage Cheese Grits Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. water
    1 c. Jim Dandy quick grits
    1/4 c. (1/2 stick) margarine
    4 eggs, lightly beaten
    1 lb. sausage, browned and drained
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) grated sharp Cheddar cheese, divided
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease a 3-quart baking dish.
    Bring water and salt to a boil in a large saucepan.
    Slowly stir in grits. Cover.
    Reduce heat and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Remove from heat.
