Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. milk
1/4 c. vegetable oil or applesauce
2 eggs
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients in bowl; mix.
Add remaining ingredients; mix with fork until large lumps disappear.
Grease griddle.
Heat on medium-high until a few drops of water sizzle. Pour batter onto hot griddle.
Turn pancakes over when bubbles form and edges start to dry.
Cook on other side until desired brownness.
Serves 6.
