Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium sweet potatoes
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Preboil potatoes 15 minutes. Peel and cut into half, lengthway pieces. Place in buttered baking dish. Combine sugar, salt, butter and water in a saucepan. Boil 3 minutes. Pour syrup over potatoes. Bake at moderate temperature, 350\u00b0, for 1 to 1 1/4 hours. Baste occasionally. Serves 6.
