Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    6 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. whole milk
    grated nutmeg
Preparation
    Scald milk and butter in saucepan. Beat egg slightly; add sugar and vanilla. Stir into scalded milk. Bake at 475\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 until pie barely shakes in crust. Shake nutmeg over pie before baking.
