Tomato Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. tomato juice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Heat tomato juice with salt, sugar and pepper. Sift dry ingredients;
    add
    milk.
    Blend
    into
    a stiff dough.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls
    into
    hot
    juice. Cook, covered, for 12 minutes. Do not overcook.
    Do not remove.
    Cover during cooking.
    Serve at once. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
