Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
1 c. milk
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 can cream style corn
3 jalapeno peppers
1 lb. ground meat (or sausage)
1/2 lb. cheese, grated
1 large onion, chopped fine
Preparation

Fry meat about 10 minutes and drain. In separate bowl, mix corn meal, salt, soda, eggs, and milk; add corn and mix well. Pour 1/2 of the batter into a pan; add meat, onion, pepper, and cheese; next add the remaining batter over the meat mixture. Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
