Mile High Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pt. whipping cream, whipped, or Cool Whip
1 baked deep pie shell
2 egg whites, beaten
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Combine strawberries, sugar, lemon juice and egg whites in large bowl.
Beat for 15 minutes or until very stiff.
Fold in Cool Whip or whipping cream and vanilla.
Spoon into pie shell.
Freeze until firm.
Serves 8. If using 2 pie shells, the pie will not be as high.
