Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 bushel tomatoes
    3 lb. onions
    4 cloves garlic
    3 Tbsp. oregano
    2 Tbsp. hot pepper
    2 Tbsp. basil
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
    1 pt. oil
    6 (12 oz.) tomato paste
Preparation
    Cook tomatoes, put through sieve, grind garlic, peppers and onions.
    Mix all other ingredients with this and cook until it is as thick as you want.
    Put in quart jars and process in hot water bath for 40 minutes.
    Total cooking time is about 3 hours.
