Pickled Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. sliced squash
    2 c. sliced onion
    4 sweet peppers, sliced
    2 c. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Soak first 3 ingredients in 2 tablespoons salt water for 1 hour.
    Mix next 4 ingredients together and bring to rolling boil. Add squash and onion; bring to rolling boil.
    Take off heat.
    Stir in peppers and can.
