Steamed Mussels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. dry white wine or water
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. tarragon (fresh), chopped or 1 tsp. dried tarragon
1/4 tsp. ground pepper
1 bay leaf, crushed
1 c. sliced mushrooms
1 c. chopped fresh tomatoes
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
3 lb. mussels, scrubbed
1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley

Mussels should be scrubbed or \"debearded\" right before cooking to retain their freshness.
