Chop Suey("A Favorite From The '76 Cookbook.") - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. meat (pork or beef), diced
    3 Tbsp. cooking oil
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    3 c. celery, sliced
    2 c. onions, sliced
    1 1/2 c. soup stock, gravy or bouillon
    1 can bean sprouts, drained
    1 Tbsp. molasses
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2/3 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 small can peas (optional)
Preparation
    Brown meat in oil.
    Add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce.
    Cook 20 minutes.
    Add celery, onions and soup stock.
    Cook until nearly done.
    Add bean sprouts.
    Cook 3 minutes.
    Mix together molasses, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, cornstarch, salt and water.
    Add to vegetable mixture.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Add small can of peas. Serve piping hot over rice.
