Gumdrop Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pound golden raisins
1 to 2 pounds gumdrops (do not use black gumdrops)
1 cup pecans
4 cups flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups applesauce
1 teaspoon soda, dissolved in 1 tablespoon hot water
1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients (flour, salt and spices).
Use some of flour mixture to dredge raisins and gumdrops (use scissors to cut gum drops and raisins before dredging in flour mixture).
