Mexican Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (14 oz.) crushed pineapple
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Blend sugar and eggs.
    Add flour and baking soda, alternating with pineapple.
    Add pecans last. Bake at 350\u00b0 in a 9 x 13-inch pan for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Cake will be very brown on top.
