Ingredients

1 can beets, sliced or diced and drained
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and vinegar in a saucepan.
Boil 5 minutes, stirring often.
Pour sauce over heated beets and let stand for a few minutes before serving.
