Nutty Cheese Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 yellow cake mix
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans (divided 3/4 c. and 3/4 c.)
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. packed brown sugar

Preparation

Base:
Stir together in a medium bowl until well mixed the butter, cake mix (dry) and 3/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts. Press mixture evenly into the 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
