Coconut Cream Pie Filling - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
pinch of salt
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
1 to 2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Mix flour, salt, egg yolks and milk.
Bring to boil.
Add vanilla, coconut and butter.
Put in baked pie shell.
Beat egg whites for topping.
Cornstarch can be substituted for flour.
