Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    3 heaping Tbsp. flour
    3/4 stick butter
    3 eggs
    1 c. milk, scalded
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    6 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Melt brown sugar, flour and butter together in iron skillet or heavy pan.
    Add hot milk and let boil.
    Stir in 3 beaten egg yolks and cook until thick.
    Take off heat and add vanilla and let cool.
