Molasses Crunches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1/4 c. light molasses
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add egg and molasses.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Chill well.
    Roll into 1-inch balls, then roll in sugar.
    Bake 12 to 15 minutes on greased cookie sheet at 375\u00b0.
