Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 small onion, finely chopped
    1/4 green pepper, chopped
    1 c. rice, uncooked
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 c. tomato juice
    1/2 tsp. dried sweet basil
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Saute onion, green pepper and rice in margarine until lightly browned.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Cover and cook over low heat until rice is tender.
    Makes 8 servings.
