Spiced Apple Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    vegetable oil for deep frying
    1 (17 oz.) can whole kernel corn, well drained
    3/4 c. cream-style corn
    1 large egg
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    4 c. bread flour (about; not all-purpose)
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    In a deep, heavy saucepan, heat 4 inches of vegetable oil to 350\u00b0.
    In bowl with a heavy-duty mixer, beat together corn, egg, baking powder, salt and sugar on medium speed (can do by hand). Add 3 cups flour and mix on low speed until blended.
    Sprinkle in enough remaining flour so that dough is thick and does not stick to side of bowl.
    By hand, knead in flour until dough is no longer sticky.
