Gold Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
8 egg yolks
4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
1 3/4 c. flour
Preparation

Cream the butter and add the sugar gradually.
Beat the eggs until thick and add to the butter mixture.
Sift all dry ingredients and add alternately with the milk and vanilla.
Bake in three 7-inch square layer pans.
Moderate oven to 360\u00b0 about 30 minutes.
