Sandy'S Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1 clove minced garlic
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/8 or 1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    1/2 can water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. thyme
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    2 1/2 lb. raw shrimp
Preparation
    Peel, devein and wash shrimp.
    Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat.
    Add onion and green pepper.
    Saute until soft; stir in garlic.
    Remove from heat; blend in flour until smooth. Add tomato sauce and simmer 5 minutes.
    Gradually add water, stirring to blend.
    Add shrimp and all remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer about 40 minutes.
    Serve over hot, cooked rice.
