Buttermilk Griddle Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    2 c. buttermilk
    3 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    maple syrup
Preparation
    In a large bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    Make a well in the center of the dry mixture; set aside.
    Separate eggs, reserving the whites.
    In another bowl, lightly beat egg yolks, buttermilk and melted butter to blend. Add to dry ingredients.
    (Batter will be slightly lumpy.)
