Shortbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add flour and mix well.
Spread on a 13 x 9-inch cookie sheet.
Prick top all over with a fork.
Bake at 275\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, turn off oven.
Remove shortbread, cut into squares and sprinkle with sugar.
Return to oven and leave until oven cools.
Store in airtight container.
Will keep for weeks.
Freezes well.
