Deep Fried Dutch Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 apple, finely chopped
1 egg
1 c. milk
1 c. flour
hot oil or shortening
cinnamon-sugar
Preparation

In a large skillet, heat oil or shortening to a depth of 1/2-inch.
Beat egg with 1/4-cup milk.
Use rotary beater or whisk. Do not overbeat.
Add flour alternately with the milk and mix thoroughly using a slotted spoon; ending with milk.
Stir in apples.
Pour into hot oil.
Fry on both sides until golden brown; sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
