Comfort Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/3 c. oil
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. peeled, chopped apples
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients in large bowl.
    Then add oil, eggs and vanilla and mix well.
    Add apples and raisins.
    Pour batter into greased 9 x 13 pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour or until cake shrinks from sides of pan.
    This cake is moist and keeps well for a long time, if nobody finds it.
    If they do, it's a flash in the pan.
