Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. chopped apples
    1/2 c. pecans
    1 tsp. grated lemon peel
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. salad oil
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Sift flour with baking soda and salt.
    In small bowl, chop apples, 1/2 cup nuts and lemon peel.
    Combine sugar, salad oil and eggs.
    Beat well with spoon.
    Add flour mixture, mixing until smooth.
    Add apple mixture; stir until smooth.
    Spread in pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Ice with Cream Cheese Icing.
