Lily'S Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 egg, beaten
    1 medium potato, grated
    1 medium onion, grated
    6 salty crackers, crushed
    1 c. ketchup
    salt and pepper to tasted
Preparation
    Mix the above ingredients together.
    Scoop up a handful of ground beef mixture and make a ball, approximately the size of a baseball, and put in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Continue to do this until you have used all the mixture.
    It makes 5 or 6 balls.
    Pour approximately 1 cup of water in the pan.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 about 40 minutes or until the meat is brown.
    Take pan out of oven and pour off the grease and water.
    Pour or squirt ketchup over the top of each ball of meat and place back in the oven for about 5 minutes or until ketchup is set.
    Leftovers make great sandwiches.
