Apple Pie Filling - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. cinnamon
10 c. water
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Combine sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and water and bring to a boil.
Add the lemon juice.
Fill 7 quarts with apples, sliced, and pour syrup over apples.
Seal.
Cool pack for 20 minutes.
