Cavatini - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef, browned
1 lb. Italian sausage
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 (12 oz.) tomato paste
1 (28 oz.) tomato sauce
1 (12 oz.) mushrooms
1 1/2 lb. sliced pepperoni
1 lb. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Preparation

Combine first 5 ingredients in frypan and brown.
Then add next 4 ingredients and let mixture simmer about 15 minutes.
While simmering mixture, cook 2 different kinds of macaroni (1/2 pound of each) drain, and add to mixture.
Put 1/2 of mixture into large baking dish.
Put 1/2 pound of cheese on top of mixture in baking dish.
Add remaining mixture and top with remainder of cheese. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese melts.
