Janet'S Forgotten Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    Cool Whip
    frozen raspberries
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Whip egg whites with salt and cream of tartar to soft point.
    Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff. Add vanilla.
    Pour in 8-inch square pan (greased).
    Put pan in oven and close door.
    Turn oven off.
    Leave overnight, or 4 to 5 hours.
    Cover with Cool Whip and refrigerate at least 6 hours. Serve topped with thawed raspberries.
